McGinn attributes his success as a builder to his carpentry background, his “hands-on” approach and his passion for the business.  “I apprenticed as a carpenter, worked as a residential carpenter, and had my own subcontracting business that grew to employ 30 carpenters,” Chris explains.  “It was this experience that gave me the ability to see the difference between a fine finished product and generally poor work.”  At the same time, Chris watched and learned from the builders he worked with.  He learned how builders managed their businesses, how they worked with their subcontractors, and how they established relationships with their customers.

Chris McGinn is founder and President of J. C. McGinn Construction Company, Inc., the Lahaska, PA-based developer of small, high-end communities and individual “ultra custom” homes in Bucks and Montgomery counties.  Over the past 25 years, McGinn has earned a reputation for excellence that is as solid as the homes his firm builds.
